we have many traditions with in my family, many involving food. thanksgiving being the one with the most traditions. we have the pumpkin pie, turkey, mash potatoes and of course stuffing. i think the biggest part of the tradition of thanksgiving is who cooks it. we have switched it up a couple of times but doesn't usually turn out the best. people begin to complain and so we generally stick to the same thing every year. but its nice give a sense of comfort and stability. i think one of my favorite traditions beside thanksgiving would have to be cooking a dish we call hash, which happens to be everything but the kitchen sink. it changes all the time, but seems to get better each time, no matter what what we put in that pot. its great spending the time in the kitchen, just talking about everything and telling stories. you got to love those little things that make you smile.
